Diary of the Dead (2007)

A film in production for a school assignment takes a turn for the worst when a zombie outbreak causes the crew to shift their priorities. Filming at a relatively remote location, the crew bands together to make it home safely. As the crew begins to run into problems, the director continues to film the events that transpire. Even when the situation becomes more and more dangerous, the director is determined to record everything that happens. Diary of the Dead serves only as the vessel for his film, The Death of Death.
